Hi all,
anybody got a input on which are the better cards to use for my dsi Firmware 14.1u?
I was looking into the other cards but to me there more or less the same as i only want to download games on and save and not to put movies/music on.
did i make a good choice? as i see other cards which do just a tab more....
any input guys....?
Bought a R4i card for my dsi

R4 was officially defunct as of about 2003 so all cards sold under that name are just clones and acekards using akaio firmware have much better compatibility when it comes to playing new games because of the measures in place to bypass anti-piracy. Having used both I strongly prefer the acekard 2i but if your card serves your purposes then you made the right choice but you may want to upgrade in the future but it is a matter of personal preference.

After what ive gone through with this new firmware i downloaded for this card was a nightmare to be honest...

Hi and thanks for your answer.
About DSI, i'm newbie....so probably this question was already posted like the one above:
My DSI XL is on 1.4.1E
acekard 2i is the best card for it? or The new R4i gold with V2.0 could go for the job?
Thanks

Yes the acekard 2i is compatible with a DSi XL and would work just fine. I am not 100% sure but I dont think the r4i is compatible with an xl version, it will work on a regular dsi model but I would still recommend the acekard 2i because of the fact that there are no official r4 cards anymore (due to a lawsuit). They are all clones sold using that title because it is or was by far the most well known device of its kind, even those new to the scene are familiar with the name. The acekard also has better compatibility with new games using akaio firmware. With the r4 you would spend a lot of time waiting for patches and fixes for new games so you should get yourself a genuine acekard instead.
